Velvet is one of the most striking fabrics out there, and if you’re planning to bring this trend into your space I suggest you go bold or go home. While you’re shopping around for your new velvet accent you’ll notice a few solid colors. Its usually available in navy blue, green, pink, or grey. Here are the styles each color would fit into.

Navy blue is for the sophisticated interior. If your home is full of class navy blue is for you. Navy blue will stand out best in a white space, but also mixes well with grays and other blues.

Green is for the bold boho interior. If your house has a neutral palate with wood accents I think a velvet green pop would do well in your space. The strong green can be easily balanced with house plants.

Pink is for feminine and delicate interiors. Imagine a single girls apartment, or a little girls room.

Grey, my favorite color for velvet, can be seamlessly added to any interior that is lacking a little snazzy accent. Grey pairs so well with almost any color scheme and will never go out of style.
