1. Wood Box Center Piece
Every dining table needs a center piece, and I’ve found the perfect farmhouse wood box center piece. This simple little box is so versatile and you can easily change up the decor you place inside depending on the season. I love the fresh flower in a mini mason jar look though. 2. Turn Buckle Shelf
These little DIY shelves by Lolly Jane are dripping in farmhouse style. I love the mix of black metal and dark stained wood. This is the perfect functional DIY for a bathroom, kitchen, or bedroom.
3. Farmhouse Kitchen Labels
This has got to be one of the easiest farmhouse decor DIY projects out there. All you need are some glass food storage containers (easily found at IKEA) and a few labels with a farmhouse font. You can purchase the ones in the photo here, or you can get creative and make your own! This little touch will add a dash of farmhouse flair to your kitchen. 4. Re-purposed Glass Bottle Vase
I love a DIY that involves recycling an old product into something completely new. This farmhouse inspired vase by Shanty 2 Chic is the perfect table top decor for spring time. 5. Custom Wood Sign
Wood signs are a great addition to any farmhouse decor. This DIY project is a simple one and the optimizations are endless! All you need to do Is stain a piece of wood, apply vinyl stickers in any phrase your heart desires, and paint! Its that simple. I actually made one of these for a good friend ages ago. 6. Rustic Farmhouse Picture Frame
I am so in love with this unique way of displaying beloved photos. Its a pretty simple project too! The only things you’ll need is an old thrift store frame (you can pop out the art that comes with it and toss, or re-donate) and secure chicken wire to the empty space left behind. 7. Farmhouse Memo Board
Every functional house needs a memo board. It helps keep the fridge clear of unsightly magnets and its fun and easy to leave notes or reminders behind! This easy DIY project uses the same principals as the picture frame tutorial above. So basic and cute you’ll be banging your head against the wall wondering why you didn’t think of this first! A blanket ladder is essential to all farmhouse living rooms. Perfect storage and display space for all your coveted blankets. 9. Rustic Coat Rack
I literally walked in the door after work this evening to find my wall mounted coat rack in a heap on the floor. I am 100% guilty of overloading those mini shelves with as meany coats as possible and today it caught up with me. On the bright side this huge wall shelf/ coat rack DIY by Liz Marie Blog will totally cover up the holes in my drywall left behind by my old coat rack. Isn’t patching and painting drywall THE worst?
10. DIY Picture Shelf
Make this DIY wood picture shelf for $20 in under 30 minuets! A great way to casually display family photos or decorative farmhouse items.
